Born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela to New Zealand parents, owner Sarah grew up experiencing the rich culture of Latin America, the charisma of the people, their hospitality and the delicious flavors of their traditional beverages and foods.
Inspired by her childhood in Venezuela and travels throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America, Sarah and her partner John opened Sabroso in 2007 to offer guests a glimpse of Latino hospitality, food & drinks.
